System:
hardware:Asus a7n8x, 512MB, hd, dvd/cd, onboard sound
software: fbsd 6.0, kde 3.4.2 from packages.
dmesg shows pcm0: avance logic alc650 ac97 codec.
At first I had no sound whatsoever, but kscd sound started after a
kldload snd_driver. kldstat shows 27 items.
Issues:
1. Noatun: no sound while playing mp3's or wav's.
2. System sounds: no audio problems, sound works .
2. kscd: able to hear audio cd's through onboard sound card output.
How do I begin troubleshooting this issue? .
