I'm having this exact same problem. FreeBSD 6.0-RELEASE-p4. The bug you 
listed was "resolved" because it was a duplicate: 
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124024

The backtraces I get are the same as everyone else. Seems to be 
happening on NetBSD and Linux, too.
