I think I caused this problem myself, and I'm not sure
how to solve it...

I recently reinstalled KDE on my FreeBSD 6.0 laptop. I did
this because I had updated the system to 6.1-RC1 and KDE
3.5 and had stability problems. I rebuilt world and
kernel to 6.0 and reinstalled all packages from the 6.0
packages.

Whenever I try to run Kontact and select "Contacts", Kontact
freezes. All the other functions like kmail, Todo, etc, are
working in Kontact.

Running Kaddressbook from the command line, I get
this: Mutex unlock failure: permission denied .

I have 'googled' this problem with no success, except
to gather that this could be a QT threading problem?
I tried going to the earlier version of QT , ie; 3.3.3, but
got the same error.

I'm thinking that 3.5 modified something in KDE's config
files, etc, but that seems unlikely to cause such a problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,
