conflicting with pcre. Kdelibs requires pcre 6.6_1 . Bluefish currently
has no maintainer. What can I do help remedy this?

Yes, I'm aware about these troubles, I have nothing against to
switch on utf8 by default, but I don't know the consequences, if
somebody could investigate it, it would be great.

Hi Kirill,
Thanks for the response. I don't code, but if there is something I can
help look up I certainly will. Where do I start to look?
Sincerely,
Brendhan
