That's good to hear. I hesitated to get in touch with KDE4 so far because of 
that.

I guess Solid will need a lot of work to get it working right on FreeBSD. I'll 
start working on it in the near future, now that the APIs stabelize.

What about Phonon? Doesn't it have an OSS backend? If so, where are the 
problems there?
