Hello,

Using 6.1-stable with kde 3.5.3.

I'm trying to configure samba in Control Center -> Internet & Network ->
Samba.

Samba is installed, but the control center says that "the samba configuration
file smb.conf could not be found", and i have to press the Specify Location
button to go manually to /usr/local/etc/smb.conf.

Pushing the Administrator Mode-button makes loads the file, i can change
things and save them, but when I'm changing the page an going right back to
Samba, kde didn't seem to store anything : again the announcement that
smb.conf cannot be found.

In my ~/.kde/share/config/ksambaplugin is the right way to smb.conf :
[KSambaKonqiPlugin]
smb.conf=/usr/local/etc/smb.conf

(if it is there that the Control Center writes back the data ?)

So, how do I get Control Center to keep the right path to my smb.conf ?

Thanks for the hints/help !

Beni.
