I reported this dependency omission already 2 times earlier : 5 Mar 2006
and 2 May 2006. This is the problem :
audio/arts configure bombs out because glib is not installed
This reproduces easily. I build on a empty ports system (no ports
installed at all). First install x11/xorg, then x11/kde3 .
This is the error :
frag# portsinstall.sh x11/kde3

checking for GLib-2.0 (at least 1.3.3)... not installed

Please install glib-2.0 (see http://www.gtk.org).

The config.log is not relevant (see my 2 May 2006 post which has it.)
