Michael, I'm experimenting with KDE4 in area51 here, and before you worry, yes I know it is not done, and still needs a lot of work :)
What I was wanting to ask about is how we can help to make this hit ports sooner, rather than later. We are currently working on PC-BSD7 for release sometime later this summer, Sept most likely. Right now I'm also rolling alpha ISO's every week or two, so we can test it out, and find / fix bugs. What I need to know from you guys is if it would be helpful for me to convert our build system over to build with KDE4 from area51 automatically, so we can start working on testing / fixing it in preparation for PC-BSD 7. We can assist in finding / fixing bugs while we also port over our tools to QT4. Do you think this would even be worthwhile? Or are we looking at KDE 4.1 hitting ports way later than potentially in Sept?
