I did the opposite and have a cool "Winter Track" wallpaper. When the install finished, I was concerned with the number of stops and restarts and did a portupgrade -pfR kde4 It added several ports by doing this. The computer has an Intel E8500 cpu and did the rebuild in 7 hours.
