It explicitly starts the session with > exec $STARTUP /usr/bin/dbus-run-session --dbus-daemon=/usr/bin/dbus-daemon -- > "$@" This fixes the missing power options for me, sddm-0.20.0 on 13.2-RELEASE-p1.
