Bugzilla Automation <[email protected]> has asked freebsd-kde (group) <[email protected]> for maintainer-feedback: Bug 291458: [x11/kde] When using any dark mode color scheme, a lot of the text in KDE applications is blank https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=291458
--- Description --- I run FreeBSD in a VM, and even though it's mostly for testing out ports for now, I like to play around with the desktop styling. While doing that, I discovered that when I use any dark mode color scheme, a lot of the text in KDE applications is blank, see attached screenshot. I tried multiple dark color schemes in the "Colors" KDE systemsettings section, they all result in the same problem. When I switch the "Application Style" for the look of the widgets, the problem doesn't go away either. (However, I noticed that when I switch to e.g. the "MS Windows 9x" application style, the buttons keep their rounded corners, but that seems to be likely a different hiccup.) On my Linux KDE machines, I've never seen this dark mode disappearing text issue, so it seems to be some sort of FreeBSD problem. Sorry if this is somehow a user error and not a bug!
