If we agree that using gitorious.org is a good thing (I think we had consensus there) that means that most of that will be done on the server. They already have css feeds for each project and module etc so you can listen to those. Having the ability to send emails on commit seems to be essential for many of our contributors, but I think we need to talk with the gitorious guys to get that done. Doesn't sound like too big a deal, though. I'd indeed also be interested in finding out what more needs to be done. I personally would really really really like to see koffice move to git. In other news; I'm putting more effort into vng; which is my daily front end to git. Its not meant to replace it for all usages as its usable side-by- side with git for those things vng doesn't do. But I think its a great alternative for people that really feel git has a horrible UI for simple things. -- Thomas Zander
