As you may know, git allows me to commit under any email address.
Perhaps its possible to prevent the whole issue thanks to some features of gitorious? Gitorious has support for aliases: email addresses in commits associated with your account. Is it possible to only allow a push when all email addresses used in the commits are aliases of the user doing the push, with some exceptions: - no limitation when applying merge-requests (merging merge-requests?) - commits that have been previously pushed by other users are exempted from the check. And this should probably be enabled per project and forced on for all KDE projects.
