Hi, Say you have a folder in SVN, let's call it 'Analytics', and it contains 2 sub-directories called Mobinil and MobinilUseCases.
You decide to split the contents of Analytics into separate git repositories using svn2git. If I understand correctly, then the history of 'Analytics' will be lost in the conversion unless you create a separate repository called 'Analytics', which will contain the two sub-directories: Mobinil and MobinilUseCases. However, this repository has no real function as it's contents have diverged into separate repositories. Am I correct in this assumption? John
