Hello list. :) I'm beta testing Amarok and reporting the worst bugs I'm encountering. One of the bigger problems on my machine is ogg reproduction: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=209085#c8
I've done some more tests: - oggcodecs 0.9.9.5 from package in the repo is a ~ 2002-2003 software -> crash - oggcodecs 0.9.9.6 is a ~ 2003-2004 software -> crash http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Ogg_DirectShow_Filters.htm - radlight 1.0.0.2 is a ~2005 software -> crash http://www.free-codecs.com/download/RadLight_Ogg_Media_DirectShow_filter.htm - xiph 0.81.15562 is a 12/2008 software -> 100% CPU and high memory usage http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Filters_for_Ogg_Vorbis_Speex_Theora_and_FLAC.htm http://www.xiph.org/dshow/ While all of them don't work properly for me, the one which behaves best is xiph's one, which is also the more "official" and updated one. Is there a rationale for shipping a really old codec package instead? On a partly related note: has someone the answer to this question? http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=83285 Thank you for your work, regards, Diego _______________________________________________ Kde-windows mailing list [email protected] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-windows
