Dunno if you provide > that? yes, via the -devel package, and this is quite close to: - install the current version - adapt the sources as you wish - rebuild the packages (mlt, mlt++, kdenlive and may be ffmeg-devel) - install the new packages on the system and check if it works... This is more or less what you would do with the wizard anyway, this is just a matter of utility (the rpm allows to use one build system and deploy the rpm after on all PCs, while the wizard will allow compilation on a specific host, rpm or debian packaging is not an issue here). Ubuntu, Mandriva or the rest, that's just a matter of opinions (and needs), so pick the one you need, the good thing being we are not far :-) Stef ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Kdenlive-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/kdenlive-devel
