openSUSE packages are provided by the packman project. I mailed directly to the packager witch kindly answered in some hours. kdenlive packages on packman are release-following but i can try to ask a, let say, weekly build to get those users who want latest patches bleeding edge.
FFmpeg is also (some sort of) weekly on packman. MLT is on 0.3.2, but is from the same packager of kdenlive and i think he will update on our request. this affects openSUSE for sure, but i can see that packman also provides an ubuntu/debian repo (but i'm unable to check if kdenlive pkgs are it it). I'll mail him tonight and will report here -- -- ___ Salvatore Brigaglia http://www.kde-italia.org http://opensourcecat.blogspot.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SF.Net email is Sponsored by MIX09, March 18-20, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
