Yes, the question is how to transport the frame from piave to kdenlive. It's not trivial since they are two seperate processes. Possible solutions I can think of are 1) shared memory 2) pipes 3) link kdenlive agains libpiave > In a temporay folder on the hdd ? hmm.. opening/closing/reading/writing files is probably too slow.
