Porting MLT ladspa-sdk effects to lv2core would be a nice little project. Also it may be interesting to be able to design a chain of effects in Blender and be able to reuse it in Kdenlive. I did not enquire and don't know wether this is possible or not. Kind regards, Jean-Michel
