Hi

Yes, this is possible. Click on the Ripple tool (icon: <-][->,
https://docs.kdenlive.org/en/cutting_and_assembling/editing.html#ripple-tool).Select
the clip you want to cut. Move the playhead on the position on the clip
you want to cut. Hit either “(” for cut the left side or “)” cut the
right side and the space get automatically removed.

Hello, I have been using Windows for a long time, but now I have
switched to Linux. I've been editing with Premier Pro since I became a
broadcaster. Now I started using kden live. But at one point I had
difficulty. When you press the Q key after cutting a video in Adobe,
the video is cut backwards and deleted. When you press the W key, the
video is cut forward and deleted. Is there a way to speed up our work
so that the process is completed in one go without any gaps? because I
couldn't manage to do this with shortcuts. Cutting video in 3 steps
takes too much time. Is there a feature in this program that allows
you to delete unwanted parts of the video forward or backward with a
single cut, just like in Adobe, and at the same time close the gap
with any key? I would like your help.
