Bug ID: 430626 Summary: The width of the columns varies slightly every time the scrollbar appears/disappears Product: kmail2 Version: 5.16.0 Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: message list Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: david.de...@ehu.eus Target Milestone: --- Every few days I have to manually widen the Date column, because it has shrunk enough that the dates of the e-mails don't fit. I just have figured out a way to "provoke" this in a matter of seconds. Just click alternatively between two folders: one of them must have enough messages to show the scroll bar on the right, the other one must have very few messages, so the scroll bar doesn't appear. Every time the scroll bar reappears, the Date column gets slightly narrower. Do it a few times, and your e-mail dates won't fit in the column. In the following post I'm attaching a video that shows just what I described: I'm jumping alternatively between two different folders, one of them with very few e-mails. See how the scrollbar appears and disappears. Around the 20 second mark, the Date column has shrunk enough that the 3 little dots ('...') show up in the longer dates. KMail version: 5.16.0 (but I've been noticing this for a few years) Operating System: openSUSE Leap 15.2 KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.77.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
