Summary: Kmail does not handle CAcert S/MIME keys Product: kmail Version: unspecified Platform: unspecified OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: bugzi...@georg-reuter.de Version: Unbekannt (using 3.5.9 "release 49.1" , openSUSE 11.0) Compiler: Target: x86_64-suse-linux OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.25.20-0.1-default Hello, there seems to be a bug in Kmail when using S/MIME keys from CAcert. I added the CAcert root key and my personal CAcert key. But I cannot send signed or encrypted mails. When I receive a mail signed with a S/MIME key, Kmail cannot check the validity of the key. Despite the keys are visible in Kleopatra. To check if I made a mistake I used the same keys with Thunderbird at OpenSuse and Outlook at Windows XP. It works with both programs. So I belive the problem is caused by a bug in Kmail.
