Summary: Request ability to skip some folders on IMAP scan
           Product: kontact
           Version: 4.4.2
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: mail
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
        ReportedBy: rand...@woodbriceno.net

Version: 4.4.2 (using KDE 4.4.2)
OS: Linux

If you have a lot of IMAP folders, the IMAP routine can take a long time to
scan all of them. It would be useful if under the "Properties" dialog box for
each folder, there were an option that permits you to indicate you would like
that folder NOT to be checked for email. So for example, a folder where I
store old, read but still important emails, that doesn't itself need to be
checked, can be omitted from the IMAP scan. Ideally, if you select that folder
and press F5 you could over ride the "omit" function.

This option would give users a way to make IMAP a lot faster.

Reproducible: Didn't try
