The error message: Could not create collection". (Only the last sentence is English). It does not crash, however, just exits. kontact -v Qt: 4.7.0 KDE Development Platform: 4.5.1 (KDE 4.5.1) Kontact: 4.5 beta1 I have a KMail2, KOrganizer and a KJots component loaded. After starting KMail separately, nothing changed. But after I started KJots separately, somehow Kontact got fixed and starts normally. I attach the verbose log of strace with which you can track down this bug.
