On openSUSE 11.3 64 Bit, KDE 4.6.0 Stable I have just changed my icon theme from Oxygen to Oxygencolors(v3.4) Now all the knode icons appear correctly and act as expected. It would therefore appear to be related to the icon theme rather than knode itself. Perhaps someone else can try an see if this also works for them. I am currently very happy with the way knode is now behaving, so for me this issue is resolved. HTH sometone.
