Thanks - John So, it seems this will take a very long time to fix (if it's ever fixed at all). When the KDE3 port is finished we'll probably be on KDE 5 or 6, and most users will probably have switched to better email clients/pim suites. I don't get this never-ending love affair some people have with KDE3, which causes the whole KDE project to be left in 1995, compared to other desktop environments, when it comes to email/pim. The conclusion to draw from this is that, either a new, more open-minded team takes over kmail and implements the functionality users want and expect (as showed by the number of votes on most kmail bugs and wishes), or a new pim suite for KDE is developed. If neither of these happen, users will move on to 'greener pastures' as G. Gavranovic mentioned. Count me in that group of people. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
