Summary: Wish: Confirm sending if signature is missing - as for missing attachment (intelligent assistent) Product: kmail2 Version: unspecified Platform: Debian unstable OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: composer AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: r...@skolelinux.de Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.2) OS: Linux It is quite usefull being asked for a missing attachment if key words indicate that you intend to send one. Recently, it happened to me that I hit Ctrl+Enter by accident, which was quite embarassing, because I launched an incomplete email to important receivers. Hence, I suggest (as an option that can be configured like the attachment question), that sending an email with empty body, or with a greeting formula (like "dear sir"), but missing closure (like "yours etc."). should call a query that must be confirmed before the mail leaves to the net! Another option was a configurable time delay for sent messages, to have a time window of, say 20 seconds, to hold back your mail, just in case. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Type few lines, slide your tired fingers from backspace to enter while another on is sleeping on the controol key - and - voila! ... Actual Results: - your unfinished mail will go to its receiver - and you couldn't help. Expected Results: Be asked if an incomplete message should be sent (unless configured otherwise). Or have a time frame of 20 seconds to hold back your message. We are all but humans. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
