Then I noticed that I didn't hear or see anything of that error since a while. I checked and noticed I lost the connection to the server (I have a local ownCloud and resolve the hostname via avahi). Even the check mark next to the folder vanished. As soon as avahi redetected it an I triggered a manual update and voila - the check mark appeared again and the error was shown.
