Bug ID: 315554 Summary: [USABILITY] Akregator should switch keryboard focus to the browser window once a tab is selected Classification: Unclassified Product: akregator Version: 4.10.0 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: internal browser Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: m...@archlinux.us While I do use the mouse for a lot of mundane tasks I'm a heavy keyboard user and indeed I prefer to use the keyboard anywhere I can because it's faster and it put a lot less of strain to wrists. An actual problem of Akregator is that it keeps to focus the feeds list windows when a tab is clicked so there's a need of an extra TAB key press to be able to browse the article in the browser window with the arrow keys. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a feed in a tab and wait it to load. 2. Try to navigate the article in the browser area with the arrow keys. 3. Actual Results: Not only you won't be able to do that but even if you use the <left> and <right> keys you will be taken back to the feeds list which actually have the keyboard focus. You will need to first remember to tap the TAB key in order to shift window focus to the browser area. Expected Results: Once a tab is selected you should be able to browse the opened article with the <up> and <down> arrows. For a heavy Akregator user to use the keyboard as much as possible is a *must*. Thanks for this great KDE feed reader! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
