Worked great, and since this week i regularly have errors saying "too many simultaneous connections"... Tried recreating the account from scratch, same issue. Workaround i have found so far is to go in the Gmail web UI, and click "sign out of all sessions" in the connection details. Then the akonadi resource is willing to fetch mail again.
