And duplicate emails are not deleted. I would expect kmail to remove those messages for which it already has message bodies. I do not have Further, when I run this command in Online Mode, the network becomes very busy as though it is downloading messages from the network. All messages in the folder appear to be downloaded already, b/c I can see them in the message preview pane. So, I guess kmail is unnecessarily looking things up on the network.
