There's something similar though not exactly the same here.
I am receiving emails from the servers of National Internal Revenue Service of
Bulgaria,
which have the date field, and the "received" field but the date is still
displayed as unknown.
In some of the emails the date field is like this:
Date: Tue, 9 Apr 2013 14:16:45 +0300
and the date of the email in Kmail is displayed properly,
But in other emails the date field is like:
Date: Fri, 12 Apr 2013 16:48:45 +03:00
and the date of the email in Kmail is displayed as "Unknown".
