Bug ID: 330003 Summary: Wish: Add LaTeX support (write formulas, compile, send as png or similar) Classification: Unclassified Product: kmail2 Version: 4.11.3 Platform: unspecified OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: composer Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: lilly.hauska...@googlemail.com For short: something like that: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/latex-it/?src=search In this thunderbird plugin the formulas can be inserted via $ math... $ (or with double $). The mail is sent in a text version (raw tex code is seen) and a html version with png pictures included instead. A button let it compile. Modifications in the preambel can be made. It seems to me that something like that is reletively simple to implement. Is that true? Can I do it on my own without experience and therefor contribute to kmail/kde? (Actually I use c++ and Qt for my own small applications.) Bring the math to kmail ;-) Very usefull for students of mathematic/physics/... . Reproducible: Always -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
