Bug ID: 338571 Summary: Performance Regression: Folder synchronisation in 4.14 very slow compared to kMail from KDE 4.13.x Product: kmail2 Version: 4.14.0 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: misc Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: kdeb...@customcdrom.de Since upgrading to KDE 4.14.0, kMail often is very slow when synchronizing bigger IMAP folders (the IMAP server running locally). Synchronisation literally takes dozends of seconds (for eg. folders containing about thirty thousand messages [30,000]) during which I can see the progress bar in the lower right window corner slowly advance to 100%. Once a folder's sync completed, I can use kMail some time until this folder is re-syncronized again that slowly. (Other folders may still interrupt work for synchronization during that time, however.) kMail from KDE 4.13.0 did never show this behaviour, sync was always pretty fast. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
