Meanwhile I have another nightmare, I did distro upgrade Kubuntu 14.10 to 15.04 on one of my machines and Kontact wouldn't connect to Akonadi. After a couple of attempts Plasma crashed and cannot be restarted. I'm using LXDE on that machine with Thunderbird, but daren't upgrade the other.
