This "suppressed" line is for limiting length of diffs. We have some
emails that are so huge that our mailman configuration holds them for
moderation. Instead of making the mailman limit larger and larger, I
extended the post-receive-email script to limit it based on the git
config "hooks.emailmaxlines" setting. For testing (above) I set to 3.
Now it is set to 1666 lines. I think anything longer than that is
probably not useful to be read entirely in an email.
