Hi John,

You are correct, with Debian bookworm + dhcpcd it works perfectly. With old devices Iphone5s, android, etc and windows 11 does not work properly. Can I change this in windows 11?

Thanks a lot for the help!!

Hi John, thanks a lot for the reply.

I read the documentation and found only this:
https://kea.readthedocs.io/en/kea-2.2.0/arm/ddns.html?highlight=ddns#dual-stack-environments https://kea.readthedocs.io/en/kea-2.2.0/arm/dhcp4-srv.html#using-client-identifier-and-hardware-address

I changed 'match-client-id' to 'false' in dhcp4 and 0000 appeared in the DHCID. I tried to change in dhcp6 to stay the same, but dhcp6 does not accept.

Is there another way to change this in dhcp4?

It is the dhcp clients that you need to configure not the server. What OS are you clients running?

John
