I run logcheck, which goes trawling through logs and tosses anything of interest into an email hourly. So every hour I get an email with a bunch of message about the doings of kea-lfc. E.g.:
Sep 29 14:15:04 issola DhcpLFC[123729]: INFO [DhcpLFC.140165408606144] LFC_START Starting lease file cleanup … Sep 29 14:15:04 issola DhcpLFC[123729]: INFO [DhcpLFC.140165408606144] LFC_TERMINATE LFC finished processing kea-lfc seem to think that its severity is set to INFO. I have set kea-dhcp4's logging severity set to ERROR. Can I turn down kea-lfc's severity? Failing that, I could add some regexes to logcheck's configuration. I fear I might miss something important, though. I could also reduce kea-lfc's frequency. This is kea 2.6.3 via Debian 13 (trixie). -- Does anybody read signatures any more? https://charlescurley.com https://charlescurley.com/blog/ -- ISC funds the development of this software with paid support subscriptions.
