Educomp bids for educational projects in over 8,000 govt schools

NEW DELHI - Educomp Solutions Ltd. has bid for technology-aided
educational projects at 8,000-9,000 government schools, Managing
Director Shantanu Prakash said today.
"These orders are in the pipeline and the schools are spread
across Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh," he told reporters on the
sidelines of a company event.
On the company's plans to raise additional funds, he said, "We are
fully funded up to 2009-10."
Educomp Solutions has raised nearly 7 bln rupees from Axis Bank for
funding its expansion plans.
