Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd has informed BSE that the
Board of
Directors of the Company at its meeting held on September 17, 2008,
inter
alia, have approved the investment approval for "Transmission System
associated with Mundra Ultra Mega Power Project" at an estimated cost
of Rs
4824.12 Crore with commissioning schedule of 48 months from the date
of
investment approval.
