Equity Alert: Key Asian markets down on US bailout plan uncertainty
MUMBAI--8:40AM--Key Asian markets were down today as no agreement
on the
$700-bln US bailout package has been reached yet, and amid growing
fears the
plan could face some obstacles.
US market ended up 1-2% overnight as the rescue package appeared
to be a
done deal, but US stock futures were trading down 1% today amid signs
the
negotiations may have broken down.
