Jay Shree Tea & Industries disclosed a phenomenon drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2008. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 52.17% to Rs 26.40 million from Rs 55.20 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter surged 96.09% to Rs 1,475 million, while total income for the quarter jumped 84% to Rs 1,466.30 million, when compared with the prior year period.
