Air conditioning and engineering services firm Voltas reported a drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2008.
During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 10.19% to Rs 424.10 million from Rs 472.20 million in the same quarter last year. Net sales for the quarter rose 30.27% to Rs 8,660.10 million, while total income for the quarter rose 29.86% to Rs 8,761.90 million, when compared with the prior year period.
