Zandu Pharmaceutical Works today said its consolidated net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, 2008 grew 31.45 per cent at Rs 7.23 crore as compared to Rs 5.50 crore in December quarter last financial year.
Consolidated total income rose to Rs 58.36 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 56.31 crore last year. For the nine-month period ended December 31, 2008, Zandu registered a net profit of Rs 17.10 crore, a 4 per cent growth over corresponding period a year ago. It had a net profit of Rs 16.43 crore in the same period last fiscal.
