NELCO announced that the loss for the quarter ended December 2008 has widened.
During the quarter, the loss of the company rose to Rs 83.30 million compared with a loss of Rs 20.20 million in the same quarter last year. Net sales declined 28.62% to Rs 319 million, while total income for the quarter fell 28.77% to Rs 319.20 million, when compared with the prior year period.
