Container Corporation of India disclosed a marginal rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2008. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 6.93% to Rs 2,062.95 million from Rs 1,929.20 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 0.32% to Rs 8,459.15 million, while total income for the quarter rose 1.31% to Rs 8,964.70 million, when compared with the prior year period.
