*Hotel Leela Venture* announced a phenomenon drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2008.
During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 62.71% to Rs 205 million from Rs 549.80 million in the same quarter last year due to drop in operating margins. Net sales declined 15.15% to Rs 1,213 million, while total income for the quarter fell 15.67% to Rs 1,276.40 million, when compared with the prior year period.
