*Brigade Enterprises* announced a phenomenal drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2008, primarily on account of rise in expenditure. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 94.03% to Rs 21.99 million from Rs 368.16 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales declined 11.87% to Rs 1,047 million, while total income for the quarter fell 13.59% to Rs 1,072.44 million, when compared with the prior year period.
