Bangalore-based* Opto Circuits (India)* disclosed a decline in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2008. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 1.18% to Rs 311.78 million from Rs 315.51 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter rose marginally 4.63% to Rs 946.12 million, while total income for the quarter rose 10.83% to Rs 1,013.89 million, when compared with the prior year period.
