*RSWM*, one of the largest producers and exporters of polyester viscose
blended yarn in the country, swung to loss for the quarter ended December
2008 on account of higher input and interest cost.

During the quarter, the company reported loss of Rs 146.30 million compared
with a profit of Rs 4 million in the same quarter last year. Net sales for
the quarter rose to 2.72% and the total income for the quarter rose
marginally 2.27% to Rs 3,062.50 million each.

The company posted loss of Rs 6.32 a share during the quarter compared with
earnings of Rs 0.17 a share in previous year period.
